Welcome to Tranquil Acres Farm – Home of Quality Shih Tzus Located in the peaceful countryside of southern Ohio, Tranquil Acres Farm is dedicated to raising well-bred, well-socialized Shih Tzus with exceptional temperaments and sound structure. With over 20 years of experience in ethical and responsible breeding, we are committed to preserving and improving the breed we love. Our Shih Tzus are part of our daily lives, not simply part of a breeding program. Puppies are raised in a hands-on, nurturing environment with early exposure to everyday sights and sounds, structured socialization, and age-appropriate experiences. They are introduced to routine handling and grooming preparation prior to going home, helping them transition confidently into family life. Health and integrity are priorities at Tranquil Acres Farm. We follow AKC guidelines and pursue appropriate health testing and continued education to support the long-term well-being of our dogs.
