I started raising dogs alongside my mom when I was 9 years old (back in the 1960's). It was completely different then, but dogs were the same. The first puppy I hand-raised was less than 2 weeks old and I fed her, cleaned her, etc, while traveling across 3 countries. She not only survived, but grew into a wonderful pet. I have loved dogs my whole life and enjoy living with them. As an adult & parent, I realized that I truly enjoyed the smaller companion dog and have had several breeds. I started raising Havanese in 2010 after discovering the breed. I added toy poodles (a breed from my childhood) and gradually added more variety. I love colors & I love genetics! We never plan to become a large production scale breeder because our priority is that we are able to handle, pet, love, and care for each and every animal we have. Every dog we have has access to one of our two homes with air conditioning, heat, and all of their needs, they are each loved and looked after by our family, from the grandkids to the grandparents, every one is involved. We are a small home breeder, who love our pets and are grateful that they can help us make ends meet.
