Vishalah Kennels is a small kennel located in Western Sydney, inspired and guided by several generations of showing and breeding Ridgebacks. Formerly ‘Vishala’, our kennels started when my grandmother, Deirdre Bacon, brought her first Ridgeback, Leader of Chadwell (”Kaunda”), over from England in 1972. Deirdre co-founded Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Inc. (1973) and passed her passion for the breed along to my mother, Kate McPherson, who bred several beautiful show-winning dogs including: Aust Ch Vis
