Von Wolff Kennel offers the highest quality AKC Companion Miniature Dachshunds and Show Prospect puppies.Recently, we have expanded to include a fine line of Standard sized Longhair Dachshunds. Both sizes are bred with proper temperament, first and foremost! VWK specializes in Longhair and Smooth coat Miniature Dachshunds. In Smooth Miniature Dachshunds, we have Red, Red Brindle, Black and Tan , Chocolate and Tan and Dapples. Our Longhair Miniature Dachshunds have ancestry from The United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa and the USA. VWK produces Cream, Cream Brindle and Cream Dapple Longhairs as well as beautiful Traditional Reds and Black and Tans. Our Black and Tan and Black and Cream Dapples are stunning examples of the Breed. Here, you will find the main emphasis on longevity, robust health, excellent conformation and true dachshund attitude. Our Small Standard dogs are bred from excellent bloodlines with many generations of AKC Champions and Grand Champions behind them. By breeding to our Champion Miniatures that have Standard lines in their ancestry, we hope to create elegant, great moving and beautiful Small Standards in the 18-22lb size range. The goal is to produce dogs of proper conformation that can compete in the showring and produce offspring that are an improvement on the parents. Our breeding dogs are DNA'd and Health tested. Puppies are sent home after 8 weeks of age with appropriate vaccinations, de-wormings, socialization, and vet checks ups. They are pre-registered with AKC, have an AKC ReUnite microchip, and the beginnings of basic companion dog training. We strive to match the puppy to the best puppy buyer home. A Dachshund should be a happy, healthy family member for 12-17 years. Many of our satisfied families come back for their 2nd or even 3rd VWK dachshund.
