About West Coast PWD

At West Coast PWD, our goal is to preserve the Portuguese Water Dog bloodline while raising our puppies in a loving family environment. We do this as a passion and a hobby,. Because of that, we take our puppies very seriously and view the adoption of each puppy as the beginning of a long relationship, not simply a transaction. We are very hands-on breeders, and our children play an important role in the puppy-raising process. From the moment the puppies are born until they go home with their forever families, they are surrounded by love, care, and daily interaction. All of our dogs are AKC registered, vaccinated, microchipped, and thoroughly health tested. Prior to breeding, every dog undergoes comprehensive genetic testing and is OFA certified to ensure the health and quality of our bloodlines.
