Review Policy

1. Purpose

Pet Breeder Hub ("the Platform"), operated by SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS, provides a review system to help prospective pet owners make informed decisions when selecting a breeder. Reviews offer valuable, experience-based insights into breeder practices, communication, animal health, and overall satisfaction.

By submitting a review on the Platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this Review Policy. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

To submit a review, you must meet the following requirements:

• You must have a registered account on Pet Breeder Hub.
• You must have had a genuine, verifiable interaction with the breeder you are reviewing. This includes, but is not limited to, purchasing or adopting an animal, visiting the breeder's facility, or engaging in substantive communication regarding a potential transaction.
• You are limited to one review per breeder per user account. You may edit or update your existing review at any time to reflect new information or experiences.

SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS reserves the right to request evidence of a genuine interaction before publishing or retaining a review.

3. Review Guidelines

All reviews must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Truthful and accurate: Reviews must reflect your honest, genuine experience. Do not exaggerate, misrepresent, or fabricate any aspect of your interaction with the breeder.
• Based on personal experience: Reviews must be based on your own first-hand experience with the breeder. Do not submit reviews on behalf of others or based on hearsay.
• Specific and constructive: Provide concrete details about your experience, including what went well and what could be improved. Vague or generic reviews may be removed.
• Free of personal attacks: Critique the breeder's practices, communication, and service — not the individual personally. Do not include insults, name-calling, or ad hominem attacks.
• Free of profanity and vulgar language: Reviews containing profanity, obscenity, or otherwise offensive language will be removed.
• Free of threats: Reviews must not contain threats of any kind, whether directed at the breeder, their family, their animals, or any other party.

4. Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited in reviews:

• False or fabricated claims: Any statements that are knowingly false, misleading, or that you cannot substantiate based on your personal experience.
• Defamatory statements: Content that is libelous, slanderous, or otherwise intended to damage the reputation of a breeder through false assertions of fact.
• Reviews from competitors: Breeders or individuals affiliated with competing breeding operations may not submit reviews of other breeders. This includes reviews intended to disparage competitors or artificially promote one's own operation.
• Unrelated content: Reviews must pertain to the breeder's services, practices, and your experience. Content unrelated to the breeder or pet breeding is not permitted.
• Spam and duplicate content: Repetitive, copied, or mass-generated reviews, including those produced by automated tools or bots.
• Compensated reviews without disclosure: Reviews written in exchange for compensation, discounts, free products, or any other consideration must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure of the relationship. Undisclosed compensated reviews will be removed.
• Personal or confidential information: Reviews must not contain personal information such as home addresses, phone numbers, financial information, or other private data of any individual.

5. Review Moderation

SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any user-generated review at its sole discretion, without prior notice or liability. Moderation actions may include, but are not limited to:

• Removing reviews that violate this Review Policy, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.
• Editing reviews to redact personal information, profanity, or other prohibited content while preserving the substance of the review where possible.
• Temporarily withholding reviews pending investigation of flagged content.
• Permanently removing reviews that are determined to be fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of this policy.

Reviews that are flagged by users or breeders will be investigated promptly. SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS will make reasonable efforts to review flagged content within a reasonable timeframe, but does not guarantee specific response times.

The decision to remove or retain a review rests solely with SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS, and such decisions are final.

6. Breeder Responses

Breeders may publicly respond to reviews left on their profile. Breeder responses are subject to the following requirements:

• Professional tone: Responses must be professional, courteous, and constructive. Personal attacks, threats, or retaliatory language directed at reviewers are strictly prohibited.
• Factual and relevant: Responses should address the specific points raised in the review with factual information. Breeders are encouraged to provide context, clarification, or corrections where appropriate.
• One response per review: Breeders are limited to a single response per review. Subsequent communications should be handled through private channels.

SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS reserves the right to remove breeder responses that violate this policy or our Terms of Service.

7. Dispute Resolution

Breeders who believe a review is false, defamatory, or otherwise in violation of this policy may submit a formal dispute through the Platform's mediation process. The dispute process operates as follows:

• Filing a dispute: The breeder submits a dispute request through their dashboard, providing specific reasons and any supporting evidence.
• Review and investigation: SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS will review the disputed content, the breeder's evidence, and may contact the reviewer for additional information.
• Resolution: Based on the investigation, SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS may uphold the review, remove the review, or request modifications from the reviewer.

SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS is the final arbiter in all review disputes. Decisions made through the dispute resolution process are final and binding. Neither party may appeal a dispute resolution decision except in cases where new, material evidence is presented that was not available during the initial review.

8. Immunity & Platform Protection

SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS acts as a neutral platform that facilitates the publication of user-generated reviews. The following protections apply:

• Platform neutrality: SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS does not author, endorse, or verify the accuracy of individual reviews. Reviews represent the personal opinions and experiences of their respective authors.
• Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA): To the extent applicable, SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS is protected under Section 230 of the CDA as a provider of an interactive computer service. The Platform is not the publisher or speaker of user-generated content and shall not be treated as such for the purposes of liability.
• No endorsement: The presence of a review on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, verification, or adoption of the statements contained therein by SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS.
• Individual opinions: Reviews reflect the individual opinions and experiences of their authors and do not represent the views, opinions, or positions of SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS, its officers, directors, employees, or affiliates.

9. Consequences of Violations

Violations of this Review Policy may result in one or more of the following consequences, at the sole discretion of SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS:

• Removal of content: The offending review or response will be removed from the Platform without notice.
• Account suspension: Temporary or permanent suspension of your Pet Breeder Hub account, including loss of access to all Platform features.
• Restriction of review privileges: Revocation of the ability to submit reviews, either temporarily or permanently.
• Legal referral: In cases involving defamation, fraud, harassment, threats, or other potentially illegal conduct, SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS may refer the matter to appropriate legal authorities and cooperate fully with any resulting investigation or legal proceeding.

SARL MACHETTO DOUGLAS reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary to protect the integrity of the Platform, its users, and the breeders listed therein.
