Managing Your Breeder Profile
A complete walkthrough of the Breeder Dashboard Profile tab — update your business info, contact details, photos, hours, and shipping options.
Overview
The Profile tab in your Breeder Dashboard is where you manage all the information that appears on your public profile page. Keeping this information complete and up to date helps pet seekers find you and builds trust.
Accessing Your Dashboard
- Log in to your Pet Breeder Hub account.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select "Breeder Dashboard", or go directly to
/breeder/dashboard. - Click the "Profile" tab (it is usually the default view).
Business Information
Fill in or update the following:
- Business name — Your kennel or cattery name as it should appear publicly.
- Personal name — Your name (displayed as the owner/contact).
- Description/Bio — A detailed description of your breeding program, philosophy, and what makes your kennel special. This is one of the first things pet seekers read.
- Year established — When you started breeding.
Tip: Write a thorough, genuine description. Profiles with detailed bios receive significantly more inquiries than those with brief or empty descriptions.
Contact Information
- Email — Your business email address.
- Phone — A phone number where pet seekers can reach you.
- WhatsApp — Optional WhatsApp number for messaging.
- Website — Your kennel's official website URL.
- Social media — Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter/X.
Location
Enter your full address including city, state/province, country, and zip/postal code. Your location determines where you appear in search results and on the map. Only the city and state are shown publicly — your full street address is not displayed.
Photos
Upload photos of your facility, animals, and breeding program. High-quality, recent photos are one of the strongest trust signals for pet seekers.
Photo tips:
- Show clean, well-maintained facilities.
- Include photos of your breeding animals.
- Add photos of puppies/kittens from recent litters.
- Use natural lighting for the best results.
- Avoid blurry or low-resolution images.
Business Hours
Set your operating hours for each day of the week (Monday through Sunday). You can specify opening and closing times, or mark days as closed. If you operate by appointment only, note this in your description.
Shipping Information
If you offer shipping or delivery of animals, configure:
- Domestic shipping details — How you ship within your country.
- International shipping — Toggle on if you ship internationally.
- Supported countries — List the countries you ship to.
- International pet owner process — Describe the process for international pet owners.
Purchase Process and Inclusions
Describe what is included with each purchase (vaccinations, microchip, health guarantee, registration papers, starter kit, etc.) and outline your purchasing process (application, deposit, waiting list, etc.). This information helps set clear expectations for pet owners.
Additional Locations
If your breeding program operates from multiple locations, you can add additional locations to your profile. This is a premium feature with limits based on your subscription tier. Each location appears separately in search results and on the map.
Saving Your Changes
After making changes to any section, click "Save" or "Update Profile" to apply them. Changes to your profile are reflected on your public page immediately.
