Managing Your Breed Listings
Add, edit, and manage the breeds you offer in the Breeder Dashboard, including price ranges and breed-specific images.
Overview
The My Breeds tab in your dashboard lets you manage which breeds you offer. Each breed listing appears on your public profile and in search results, so keeping this section accurate is important for attracting the right inquiries.
Adding a Breed
- Go to the "My Breeds" tab in your Breeder Dashboard.
- Click "Add Breed".
- Select the breed from the dropdown list. Start typing to search.
- Set a price range (minimum and maximum) for this breed. This gives pet seekers an idea of your pricing without committing to a fixed price.
- Add a breed image (optional). Upload a photo representative of your breeding program for this breed.
- Add a description (optional). Write about what makes your program special for this particular breed.
- Click "Save".
Editing a Breed Listing
Click the Edit button next to any breed in your list to update the price range, image, or description. Click "Save" to apply changes.
Removing a Breed
If you no longer breed a particular breed, click the Remove button next to it. You will be asked to confirm the removal.
Note: Removing a breed does not delete any animals or litters associated with it. Those records remain in your dashboard.
Tips
- Only list breeds you actively breed. Listing too many breeds can raise concerns for pet seekers.
- Keep price ranges current. Outdated pricing leads to awkward conversations.
- Use high-quality photos specific to your breeding stock, not generic breed photos.
