Setting Up Litter Alerts (Premium)

Litter Alerts notify you by email when breeders post new litters that match your criteria. Instead of checking the directory every day, let us do the work and alert you as soon as matching litters become available. This is a Premium feature.

• A Pet Breeder Hub account
• An active Premium subscription

1. Go to Alerts at /account/alerts from your account dashboard.
2. Click "Create Alert".
3. Set your criteria:
   • Breed — Select one or more breeds you are interested in.
   • Location — Optionally limit to a specific state or region.
   • Specific breeder — Optionally watch a particular breeder.
4. Choose notification preferences — How quickly you want to be notified (immediately, daily digest, or weekly digest).
5. Click "Save Alert". Your alert is now active.

From the Alerts page, you can:

• Toggle alerts on/off — Pause an alert without deleting it.
• Edit criteria — Update the breed, location, or notification frequency.
• Delete alerts — Remove alerts you no longer need.
• View alert history — See which litters previously triggered your alerts.

• Start broad (breed + state) and narrow down if you get too many notifications.
• Set up alerts for your top 2–3 breed choices to keep your options open.
• Combine with Saved Breeders to track specific kennels you trust.
• Respond quickly when an alert fires — popular breeds sell out fast.
