Browsing the Shelter Directory

In addition to breeders, Pet Breeder Hub maintains a directory of animal shelters and rescue organizations. If you are considering adoption, the shelter directory helps you find organizations near you.

1. Go to the shelter directory at /shelters, or click "Find Shelters" in the footer navigation.
2. Filter by state to find shelters near you.
3. Filter by organization type (shelter, rescue, foster-based, etc.).
4. Browse the results. Each listing shows the organization name, location, and type.
5. Click a listing to view full details and contact information.

• Many shelters have specific breed rescues — search by breed name if you have a preference.
• Contact shelters directly to ask about available animals, as availability changes frequently.
• Consider both local and regional organizations, as some rescues transport animals.
