Cancelling Your Subscription
Learn how to cancel your Pet Breeder Hub subscription and what happens to your account and data afterward.
Overview
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Your premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier — your data is not deleted.
How to Cancel
- Go to your subscription settings.
- Pet Owners:
/account/subscription - Breeders: Breeder Dashboard → Subscription tab
- Pet Owners:
- Click "Cancel subscription". A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Confirm the cancellation. Click "Yes, cancel" to proceed. Your premium features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
What Happens After Cancellation
- Immediate: Your subscription is marked for cancellation but remains active until the end of the billing period.
- End of billing period: Premium features are deactivated. Your account reverts to the free tier.
- Your data is preserved: Your profile, reviews, animals, litters, and other data remain intact. Premium-only features simply become inaccessible until you re-subscribe.
- No further charges: You will not be billed again unless you re-subscribe.
Resubscribing or Resuming
Changed your mind before the billing period ends? Click "Resume subscription" on the subscription settings page to undo the cancellation — no new charge, everything stays as-is. After the billing period expires, you can re-subscribe by visiting your subscription settings and selecting a plan. Your previous data and settings will still be there.
Refund Policy
Cancellations do not trigger a refund for the remaining time in your billing period. You continue to have access to premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for. For billing disputes, contact support.
