Understanding Rankings and Boost

Pet Breeder Hub ranks breeders within their breed, city, state, country, and globally. Your ranking is based on a composite score that reflects the quality and completeness of your profile. Boost is a premium feature that gives your profile additional visibility in search results and directory pages.

Your ranking is determined by a composite score that considers:

• Review ratings — Your average rating from internal and external reviews.
• Review volume — The number of reviews you have received.
• Profile completeness — How thoroughly you have filled out your profile.
• Health testing — Published health test results for your animals.
• Activity — How recently you have updated your profile, posted litters, or responded to reviews.
• Verification status — Claimed and verified profiles rank higher.

1. Go to the "Rankings" tab in your Breeder Dashboard.
2. View your rankings across different scopes:
   • Breed-specific — Your rank among all breeders of the same breed.
   • City — Your rank among breeders in your city.
   • State/Country — Your rank within your state and country.
   • Global — Your overall rank.
3. Track year-over-year changes to see if your efforts are paying off.

• Complete every section of your profile.
• Add comprehensive health tests for all breeding animals.
• Encourage satisfied pet owners to leave reviews.
• Respond professionally to all reviews.
• Keep your litter listings current.
• Link external review sources to boost your blended rating.
• Upload high-quality, recent photos.

Boost is a premium feature that gives your profile additional prominence:

• Featured placement in search results and directory pages.
• Highlighted listing that stands out from standard results.
• Priority visibility on breed and location pages.
