Resetting Your Password
Forgot your password? Learn how to reset it and regain access to your Pet Breeder Hub account.
Overview
If you have forgotten your password or need to change it for security reasons, you can request a password reset link via email. The process takes just a few minutes.
Requesting a Password Reset
- Go to the login page by clicking "Log In" in the top-right corner of any page.
- Click "Forgot Password?" below the password field. You will be taken to the password reset page.
- Enter your email address. Use the same email you registered with.
- Click "Send Reset Link". A password reset email will be sent to your inbox.
- Check your email. Open the email from Pet Breeder Hub and click the reset link. The link expires after one hour for security.
Setting a New Password
- Click the reset link in the email. You will be taken to the password reset form.
- Enter your new password. Choose a strong password with at least 8 characters. We recommend using a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters.
- Confirm your new password. Re-enter the same password to confirm.
- Click "Reset Password". Your password is now updated. You will be redirected to the login page where you can sign in with your new password.
Changing Your Password (While Logged In)
If you are already logged in and want to change your password:
- Go to your Account → Security settings (pet seekers) or Breeder Dashboard → Account tab (breeders).
- Find the Password section and click "Change Password".
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
- Click "Update Password" to save.
Troubleshooting
I did not receive the reset email.
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Make sure you entered the correct email address.
- Wait a few minutes before requesting another reset link.
- If you signed up with Google, you may not have a password. Use the "Continue with Google" button to log in instead.
The reset link says it has expired.
- Reset links expire after one hour. Go back to the login page and request a new one.
I still cannot access my account.
